MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- DESE Substitute Teacher Certification required
- College-level or equivalent training in piano required
- Experience as a vocal accompanist preferred
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Play the piano at an advanced level in various musical styles
- Possess advanced sight-reading skills
- Collaborate with the vocal music director in rehearsals during the school day and after school as needed
- Perform with school choirs, vocal ensembles, and soloists at school concerts, music festivals, and community events.
- Practice independently to prepare for rehearsals and performances
- Know and follow safety measures during rehearsals and performances
- Be willing to ride district transportation and/or use a personal vehicle when traveling to and from performances
- Other duties as may be assigned by the vocal music director or administrative staff
TERMS: Extra Duty contract; $4,513.00 annual
EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 school year
SCREENING TO BEGIN: Immediately
Recommendation to be given at the October 2026 Board of Education meeting.
