ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in providing a learning environment for children that encourages imagination and self-discovery using hands-on activities
- Ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for children
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with the students, parents, and staff
- Work a flexible schedule, which at times includes early and late hours
- Keep the director informed of all pertinent information regarding phases of the center's programs
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate records, such as attendance, lunch counts, daily reports, and accident/illness reports
- Substitute for classroom teacher when needed
- Complete twelve clock hours of child-related training at the center per calendar year
- Any other duties as assigned

TERMS: $17.35+ per hour with possible steps for experience;Full-time with benefits; 9-month contract
