POSITION: Head Coach – Girls Lacrosse
LOCATION: Southington High School
SALARY: $6,587.00 – $7,866.00 stipend
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
To assist in the selection and supervision of the coaching staff. To direct, supervise, and train the girls lacrosse team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: instruction and practice of skills and techniques; sportsmanship; contest preparation with applied knowledge of game concepts and strategies; purchasing, scheduling, supervising and record keeping.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must hold a CT coaching permit; have a current CPR and First Aid card and, have CT Coaching Education Program (CCEP) Module 15-Concussion and, Head Injury education. Candidate should have thorough knowledge of the sport / activity and demonstrate technical and tactical knowledge of the sport. Ability to motivate high school student athletes. Consideration shall be given to past coaching experience.
