Title: School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
Mansfield Township School District, a two school PK-6 district, is seeking a full-time School Business Administrator/Board Secretary.
Location: Mansfield Township School District
Qualifications: Valid New Jersey School Business Administrator Standard Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility per N.J.A.C. 6A:9B-12.7 School business office experience preferred Qualified Purchasing Agent (QPA) Certificate preferred Comprehensive understanding of accounting and reporting procedures in relation to statute, code, and GAAP guidelines Experience in coordinating and managing a school district budget Familiarity with Systems 3000 Knowledge of accepted business practices in school districts related to budget preparation and administration, insurance, health benefits, purchasing, food services, buildings and grounds, transportation Excellent organizational and communication skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, board members, community members, and fellow administrators The successful candidate will also serve as Board Secretary and will be required to attend all meetings of the Mansfield Township School District Board of Education All applicants must be residents of the State of New Jersey.
Reports to: Superintendent Salary: To begin at $125,000.00 annual salary; based on experience
(Full time employees are eligible to participate in the following: medical, prescription and dental plans, NJ State administered Retirement System and in the Defined Contribution Retirement Program, tuition reimbursement, possible stipends, sick and personal days and paid time off.)
