Description:  2nd Shift Custodian 12-month hourly employee Days of Work: Monday to Friday Times of Shift: 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

Job Summary:

1. Responsible for cleaning areas assigned by the Night Foreman.
2. Replaces fluorescent and incandescent lamps in assigned areas.
3. Maintains security in housekeeping areas.
4. Responsible for building set-ups for rentals, school activities, and continuing education.
5. Assists with snow removal operations.
6. Maintain the Fixed Asset records to include additional, replacement and disposed of fixed asset inventory.
7. Performs other duties as assigned by the Night Foreman and/or Building and Grounds Manager & the Director of Purchasing & Facilities.

Qualifications:

1. Be familiar with all types of equipment used in maintenance of tile floors and carpet.
2. Possess safety habits, skills and insight while performing custodial work.
3. Knowledgeable in all areas of housekeeping.
4. Must be capable of understanding instructions and physically able to perform assigned tasks.

Working Conditions: Is under the supervision of the Foreman, Building and Grounds Manager, and Director of Purchasing and Facilities.

This position is paid at a rate higher than 2nd shift custodian.
