Varsity Softball Assistant Coach Wellington High School

Position Details Wellington Exempted Village Schools (Lorain County) seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our coaching staff as our Varsity Softball Assistant Coach. You would work under the guidance of the Varsity Head Softball Coach of Wellington High School.

Essential Qualifications

• Valid or pending Ohio Pupil Activity Permit
• Experience either coaching or playing softball

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of the game of softball
• Teaching experience
• Experience with collaboration between boosters and community members

 Position Start Date and Compensation Details

• Position is for the 2026-27 school year, but summer programming and preseason workouts are expected.
• Compensation is based upon years of experience and the WEA collective bargaining agreement (available on the district website).
