MEDIA AIDE (PART-TIME - 10 HOURS PER/WEEK) 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR WESTMORELAND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
We are presently accepting applications for the following position. MEDIA AIDE (PART-TIME - 10 HOURS PER/WEEK) QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or college coursework, preferred
- Experience working in a library or school, preferred
- Experience with library automation software, preferred
- Experience working with children, preferred
- Knowledge of basic library procedures and practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to learn library management software
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hourly Rate: $22.89/hr* (Click on the following link for the full Pay Rate schedule: Fair Lawn Association of Educational Secretaries)
*Until such time as a successor agreement is reached.
This is a part-time position that does not include benefits.
