Student Support Services is seeking a LTS - Certified Occupational Therapist. Candidates should be able to work with a team of teachers who are dedicated to improving student achievement. All candidates must possess appropriate State of Connecticut certification
Qualifications:
- Current License/Certification from the State of CT
- Experience in occupational therapeutic methods and techniques in the rehabilitation field and/or school setting working with special education students
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic services to students requiring occupational therapy interventions.
- Coordinate to assist in the development of programming for students with disabilities
- Designing and implementing activities that support the implementation of IEP goals and objectives
- Implementation of Occupational Therapy services as defined in student Individualized Education Plans
- Collect data that supports progress monitoring of IEP goals and objectives.
