REQUIRED CRITERIA:

• Deep understanding of secondary math content (algebra, geometry, statistics, etc.) and how to scaffold concepts
• NJ Teacher of Mathematics Certification
• Understanding of NJ Student Learning Standards and related to NJSLA-M assessments
• Understanding of the NJSLS Mathematical Practices
• Understanding of data-driven instruction: analyzing assessment data, progress monitoring, and adjusting instruction accordingly
• Experience in developing students' critical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities
• Experience in differentiated instruction and evidence-based intervention strategies
• Effective classroom management skills
• Knowledge of educational technology tools
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
