SUMMARY:

To support the professional growth of administrators, School Improvement Specialists (SIS), and Teachers in the area of ELA by strengthening classroom teachers' understanding of ELA  concepts, effective delivery of instruction strategies, and Common Core State Standards.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Arizona teaching certificate (K-6 or ELA Secondary). Master's Degree in English Education or equivalent and three years of teaching experience.
• Skilled in ELA instruction and assessment.  Works effectively in small groups and the classroom environment.  Works successfully with diverse populations.
• Demonstrates successful collaboration.
• Strong ELA intervention experience.
