District Communications Coordinator
Part-Time September through June
20 Hours Per Week

Reports Directly to the Superintendent of Schools
Responsibilities Include:
- Promote district programs, student achievement, and school events through effective communication and community engagement.
- Maintain and update the district website and social media platforms.
- Create and distribute communications to staff, students, families, and the community.
- Attend Board of Education meetings, school events, and district programs to develop content and highlight district accomplishments.
- Prepare press releases and serve as the district's liaison to local media.
- Collaborate with district and building administrators to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging.
- Support special projects and other communications initiatives as assigned by the Superintendent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.
- Strong written communication skills, experience with website and social media management.
- Ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.
