Principal – Nottingham High School (Grades 9-12)

1. NJ Principal's Certificate Required (Standard, Provisional, or CE)
2. Administrative Experience required;
3. Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching experience;
4. Knowledge/experience with best practices in high school education (particularly with large enrollment);
5. Understanding of the role/importance of extra-curricular and athletics within a high school setting;
6. Knowledge/experience with creating and sustaining positive community relations with diverse stakeholders;
7. Knowledge/experience with master scheduling; state assessments, and school-level budgeting/purchasing;
8. Understanding of teacher observation/evaluation process (ie: Danielson);
9. Understanding of high school graduation requirements;
10. Willingness to work collaboratively with guidance and special education;
11. Knowledge/experience with classroom and building school climate and restorative interventions;
12. Knowledge of school law, assessment accountability/procedures, and NJ Student Learning Standards;
13. Willingness to work collaboratively with building and central office administration (in a large district setting).

Effective:  2026 - 2027 School Year

• Anticipated Start Date: 8/01/2026 

Salary Range: (Per HTASA Salary Guide Step 9A) $158,111 - $162,611 (with doctorate degree)
