Maintenance Mechanic - Extended Deadline Positions available: immediately - 6/30/2027

Qualifications:

Knowledge and prior experience in one of the following required:
- Plumbing
- HVAC
- Electrical
Experience in plumbing or HVAC preferred
Must have Black Seal Boiler License or willing to obtain within one year of employment
Able to delegate work and supervise performance
Able to follow orders and work independently
Familiarity with general maintenance of mechanical equipment
Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment
Valid NJ State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record required

Work Expectations:

Must work overtime as needed or as emergencies arise
Must perform snow removal
Must work any shift and daily assignment in accordance with the Teamsters Local No. 11 Collective Bargaining Agreement
Must be in good health to perform heavy labor tasks
Neat appearance
Cooperative attitude
Other duties as assigned by the Director of District Facilities or designee

Terms of Employment

Salary range: $47,000 - $56,000 (Note: Range does not apply to current Facilities Workers) + Additional Stipends, if applicable, see link below for details
