Kasson-Mantorville Community Education is a great place for students to gain a myriad of different work experiences in multiple different fields. We have the flexibility to offer an individual experience based on where the intern’s interests truly lie. The following programs are offered by Kasson-Mantorville Community Education:

  • State of the art performing arts center

  • Community Fitness Center

  • Health/wellness/fitness programing (exercise classes, nutrition classes, healthy cooking classes, etc.)

  • Adult recreational programing (painting, scrapbooking, safe driving, etc.)

  • Youth recreational programing (music lessons, robotics, art, foreign language, etc.)

  • Gymnastics

  • Community Events

  • Preschool Classes

  • Early Childhood Special Education

  • School Aged Child Care

  • Early Childhood Family Education


This internship can be customized for a student in a variety of programs including:

  • Health and Fitness

  • Sport Management

  • Early Childhood Special Education

  • Elementary Education - Early Childhood

  • Marketing

  • Parks, Recreation, and Leisure Studies

  • Director of Community Education license


Additional benefits to students pursuing an internship with K-M Community Education would be:

  • Attend meetings/conferences in interest areas

  • Sit on committees

  • Potential to work with other areas of the school district such as in the classroom, educational leadership, or student activities
