Essential Functions:

Essential Functions:

1. Provide assistance to all students that need help entering and exiting the school bus.  Assistance includes, but is not limited to:
   1. Helping students climb or descend bus steps
   2. Properly seating students
   3. Ensuring that students that require car seats are properly seated and the seat is properly secured
   4. Ensure that all students possessions are properly stored and safeguarded
   5. Act as navigational aid to any substitute driver
2. Other duties may include operation of a wheelchair lift, tie down of wheelchair, and student discipline.  Duties will be determined by the driver and aide working together as a team.

1. CPR
2. Training tailored to individual student needs as determined by the school nurse.
