Description
Job Summary:
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency and experience in the following:
- Provides effective instruction of students in order to maximize their learning
- Motivates students to work to attain their potential as a learner and an individual
- Exhibits knowledge of Delaware's Core Content Area Standards
- Assists in the continuous evaluation, development, and improvement of student educational learning as prescribed by district curriculum
- Maintains appropriate classroom discipline required for maximum student learning and safety
- Participates in professional development, which targets improved classroom instruction
- Other related duties as may be required
- Must hold or be eligible for State of Delaware Certification.
- Clean Criminal Background Check, Child Protection Registry Check, and TB Test must be completed prior to start of employment.
