Permanent Substitute Thru PCMI/Willsub

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Carrollton Public Schools is seeking substitutes who are willing and able to work 5 days per week every week that school is in session thru the end of the school year.  Substitutes must guarantee their availability 5 days per week for the entire school year.

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

COMPENSATION: $125 per day

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have a minimum of 60 semester credit hours toward an undergraduate degree from an accredited United States 4 year College or University
2. Must be a PCMI/WillSub employee
3. Must have a minimum GPA of 2.0
4. Must have an understanding of elementary school students
5. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
6. Must be flexible and able to work as part of a team
7. Must receive a satisfactory response to P.A. 189 letter. (Misconduct Law)
8. Must satisfactory pass:    
   •  Law enforcement background check with fingerprinting 
   •  Personal and professional reference background check

1. Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
2. Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
3. An interest in working with students of various are groups
4. Ability to create a positive learning atmosphere, focused on student involvement/interaction
5. Ability to manage conflict and obtain positive results
6. Professional demeanor and personal integrity
7. Ability to demonstrate safe work habits and maintain a safe environment for students
8. Must complete all required on-line training modules provided by Global Compliance Network (GCN)
9. Ability to travel to various buildings within the district(s)
10. Adherence to all PCMI policies and all school district policies/guidelines
