Substitute Instructors - Regional Center for the Arts (RCA)

RCA is a part time interdistrict magnet high school committed to bring together people of diverse cultural heritage to develop in all students the knowledge, skills, attitudes and self-discipline to reach their fullest artistic potential, to live a productive life and to contribute to society as creative engaged citizens. We are looking for substitute instructors to teach all disciplines of classes to our passionate high school students.

Candidates should have a background as a performer in theatre, dance, musical theater or music, and a demonstrated ability to teach young people.  Candidates must also be able to collaborate with others while preparing students for performances. 

Responsibilities: Follow lesson plans provided by the instructor, maintain accurate records of student attendance, communicate with parents, and other assigned duties.

Position Length: Per Diem, as needed during the school year; Monday - Thursday 12:45 pm - 4:45 pm.

Salary Range:  $85.00 per day
