Title: WELLNESS COACH
Reports to: Director of Pupil Services
Minimum Qualifications:
•Licensed Clinical Counselor, Licensed Social Worker
•Maintain a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
•Participate (and pass where applicable) in all required training, including but not limited to: Vehicle Safety, First Aid, CPR, Crisis Intervention, Blood Borne Pathogens, and others deemed appropriate for the position.
•Comply with drug-free workplace board policies and procedures related to employment.
•Embody high ethical standards and integrity. Accept responsibility for decisions and conduct.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide group and 1:1 mental health intervention services to identified students to build skills related to emotional regulation, executive functioning skills, and stress/anxiety management.
•Serve as a liaison between school-based and community-based services.
•Support school personnel in developing crisis intervention and crisis response protocols
•Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop, implement and monitor intervention plans, Section 504•Plans and Individualized Education Plans as needed
•Support PBIS practices across the District
