Full Time 260 days/8 hrs/day
Work in a collaborative team environment to provide primary support for the student information system (SIS). Primary support for schools and staff access to and utilization of SIS, including but not limited to student enrollments, security, school setup, state reporting, and troubleshooting.
Duties: This role provides high-quality customer service and technical support to staff, parents, and students, focusing on the troubleshooting and functionality of the Student Information System (SIS). Key responsibilities include managing accurate data entry for enrollments and attendance while resolving errors for state reporting requirements like MARSS and Ed-Fi. Additionally, the position facilitates professional communication across the district, provides support for the Enrollment and Information Services Department, and engages in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives to support overall departmental operations.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, the ability / desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval, good oral and written communication and organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, flexibility, ability / desire to work cooperatively with departments, district staff and public, ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day, must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and the ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. Must be physically working in the building.
Preferred Qualifications: Two years of experience in customer service, information systems, or student data management, with a strong emphasis on accurate data entry. Experienced and proficient in the use of the Google Suite. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a sharp aptitude for troubleshooting and "solving puzzles" while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Success in this role requires the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
Rate of pay: $23.25/hour.
Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 194 days per year.
