Extended School Year Program (Summer 2026) - Direction Provider / Medicaid-Speech Language Services

PAY RANGE:  $31.00-$45.00/Hour, Based on Experience

PROGRAM DATES:  July 6, 2026 - August 14, 2026

ORIENTATION:  July 1, 2026 (Mandatory) & July 2, 2026 (Optional for new staff/classroom set up)

JOB DESCRIPTION: Provide direction to teachers of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped who are servicing Medicaid eligible students.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. Verify service recommended on Medicaid eligible student’s IEP. 
2. Be available as a resource and support to the Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped. 
3. Conduct on-site visits per Medicaid eligible student during the school year. 
4. Review progress documentation quarterly. 
5. Maintain documentation of the Direction Program. 
6. Submit to districts a statement attesting to the provision of direction for each Medicaid eligible student. 
7. Perform such other professional duties as may be assigned by the Special Education Supervisor.
