Description
Community Unit School District 308 is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as the Principal of Oswego East High School, beginning July 1, 2026. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Qualified applicants will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Principal or General Administrative Endorsement; M.A. in Education Administration; 5 years of teaching experience and prior administrative experience. Additional skills required are excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of school improvement process and collaborative leadership style.

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 has adopted the School Leader Evaluation Plan that helps school leaders grow their leadership dispositions and the skills necessary for them to do their work effectively throughout their career continuum (Aspiring to Launching to Building to Mastering). The recommended candidate for this position will receive a regionally competitive starting salary ($140,000 - $180,000) depending on educational background and experience. A comprehensive benefits package including Board-paid TRS and THIS contributions, five weeks paid vacation per year, and 80% district-paid medical (including 100% reimbursement for non-emergency care at Rush affiliated providers on our PPO & HCA plans) and dental insurance.
