Custodian

POSITION: Full-time, year round 2nd Shift Custodian for Jordan Elementary School.

SUMMARY: Provide a clean, safe, positive environment for students, staff and the public.

SALARY/BENEFITS: $21.29 - 27.91 per hour, depending upon experience. Benefit Package Includes:

REPORTS TO: Facilities Director/Building Custodian

QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education/Experience/Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a custodial position. Preferably in a school environment.
• Experience working with school district maintenance, procedures, methods and policies and the ability to properly instruct and oversee subordinates (ie: summer help).
• Must have personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment.
• Must be detail oriented.

       Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition and have the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with no physical restrictions.
• Must be able to work in confined areas (ie: boiler room).
