ESY Reading Specialist

At the present time, vacancies exist for summer Reading Specialists for extended school year (ESY) programming within the Division of Student Services of the Chester County Intermediate Unit.

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Reading Specialist certification required
• Wilson reading level 1 certification preferred
• Current, within one year, police, child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required

Duties & Responsibilities:
Applicants will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students and coordinate the student's program with the basic education staff.

Salary:  (based on years of experience)

Steps 1-5 (0-13 years experience) = $39.00 per hour
Steps 6-10 (14-28 years experience) = $44.00 per hour
Steps 11-16 (29+ years experience) = $49.00 per hour

Dates and Hours: Dates and hours will vary by school district.
