Speech and Language Pathologist
The position of K-8 Speech and Language Pathologist is a part-time position (two-three days per week) which requires a current Ohio Department of Education professional license and a license from the Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board.
Responsibilities will include:
Working effectively with students with IEPs, Service Plans or Intervention Plans delivering Specially Designed Instruction for identified needs in the areas of Articulation as well as expressive, receptive and social communication
Facilitating the growth of overall communication skills and understanding.
Participating in evaluation, data collection and communication contributing to Multifactored Evaluations and Evaluation Team Reports for referred students.
Developing and Implementing IEP goals and objectives.
Working collaboratively with special education staff, regular education staff and school administrators.
Collecting data, monitoring and recording progress, completing progress reports.
Communicating effectively and working collaboratively with parents.
