- $16.55 to $28.00 per hour (Internal Candidates)
- $16.55 to $22.51 per hour (External Candidates)
- 40 hours/week; 52 weeks/year
This is a twelve (12) month position on the current AFSCME Custodial Salary Scale. Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the AFSCME Master Agreement. (Please refer to the job description for requirements).
In addition to the hourly base rate, this position includes a nightshift differential pay of $.75 per hour during the academic year.
Applicants must have a high school diploma, equivalent (GED), or NCSCEP (enrollment within two months of employment in this position) and six (6) months of experience as a custodian.

Current HCPSS employees must have at least one reference from a currentl supervisor within HCPSS. Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, this position is not exempt from overtime.
