Substitute Food Service Worker 24-25SY

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

• State of Washington Food and Beverage Service Worker’s Permit required
• Knowledge of basic food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Effective oral communication skills
• Ability to deal with students in a positive and confident manner
• Ability to learn the operation of a POS register, kitchen equipment, and appliances
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and be flexible

 
GENERAL FUNCTIONS: 
 
Substitute Food Service Workers provide hot and cold food for students on an on-call basis. Responsibilities include preparation of food, setting up and tearing down serving line, operating a POS, and clean up. Work is based on employee absenteeism and there are no guaranteed hours or benefits.
