Guest Teacher (Emergency Substitute Teacher Program-IU1 Operated Classrooms Only)

Intermediate Unit 1 (IU1) is currently accepting applications for Guest Teachers/Emergency Certified Substitutes (IU1 operated classrooms and programs only).  

Individuals with a Bachelor’s Degree in any area, but that are not certified educators/teachers, are welcome to apply.  This program provides an opportunity for individuals that are interested in working in the field of education to become trained and certified as an emergency day-to-day substitute teacher for the 2024-25 school year. 

This posting is specific to individuals interested in applying for substituting in IU1 operated classrooms and programs only.
