Description: Audiologist

Job Summary: To provide audiological services to students in St. Martin
Parish, in accordance with a plan of care established by a
physician (when necessary) or other authorized
professional or agency responsible for student care.

Qualifications: Must have an audiologist license and be board certified

Performance Responsiblities: 


1. Conduct audiological screening and testing
2. Provide direct services to students, as per IEP
3. Participate in multi-disciplinary evaluations including writing reports,
staffing and subsequent follow-ups.
4. Participate in IEPs on students, when necessary
5. Consultative activities with teachers, parents and administrative personnel
6. Oversee audiological equipment needs of students
7. Attend/Present necessary professional development regarding educational
training programs
8. Maintain all audiological equipment
9. Submit all requires forms as required by the SMPSB
10. Submit invoice at the end of each month
