POSITION:                               SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER (RESOURCE CENTER)
                                                    MACOPIN SCHOOL 2024 -2025 SCHOOL YEAR

RESPONSIBILITIES:                *Provide specialized learning experiences in a supportive and positive classroom
                                                    climate that develops in each student the skills, attitudes and knowledge to meet
                                                    and exceed the New Jersey Student Learning Standards as outline in the IEP for 
                                                    the student, using approved curricula and directives of the school
                                                   *Ongoing collaboration with administration, case manager, general education teachers,
                                                     related services staff and parents
                                                   *Utilize data to construct and offer differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs 
                                                     of student population

QUALIFICATIONS:                   1. Appropriate NJ State Certification - Teacher of Students with Disabilities or Teacher of 
                                                       the handicapped
                                                   2. Enthusiasm and strong organizational and interpersonal skills
                                                   3. Prior experience working with High School aged students

SALARY:                                   Per Board of Education/WMEA Agreement
