Position:                    Substitute KidKare Assistants or Supervisors 
Location:                   Community Education - All KidKare Sites

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate openly, appropriately and in a positive and effective manner to children, parents, building staff and other KidKare staff. 
• Help serve meals and supervise the children during meal time.
• Interact directly with the children during all activities, i.e. gym games, outside, sitting with children during meals, art projects, etc. 
• Have knowledge of KidKare guidelines and policies and be familiar with the parent handbook.
• Enforce behavior guidance policies with help from the supervisor.
• Help keep KidKare areas clean and safe for children at all times.
• Aide Supervisors in planning and carrying out daily activities.

ASSISTANT DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• Must enjoy working with children.

SUPERVISOR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• 120 hours of relevant training and/or 2080 hours work experience in child care or related field. 
• CPR/First Aid certified
