Part-Time School Nurse FY25 - Bus/Substitute/Field Trips

NJ School Nurse certificate/license required or Registered professional nurse, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in the state willing to complete the New Jersey Department of Education emergency certificate requirements for standard School Nurse Certification/License. 

Current certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).

Qualifications

• State of NJ Department of Education School Nurse Standard Certificate,
• Demonstrated expertise in school health nursing practices and emergency procedures
• Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues and wellness education
• Experience working with students with various medical conditions, such as diabetes and epilepsy
• Knowledge of community health and social service resources

• Health Screenings & Services, Emergency First Aid, the care of those who are ill and injured while in school, maintenance of health records.

• Substitute Nurse / Field Trip Nurse: $230.00 - $240.00 per diem
• FY25 Bus Nurse:$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
