WORK SCHEDULE:            
Five (5) days per week as the local school districts’ schedule and calendar.

REPORTS TO:                      
Special Education Supervisor
 
SALARY RANGE:                
According to the Terms of the Master Agreement for AFT
 
STARTING DATE:               
As soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Master's degree in the area of education or study related to special education. Three (3) years of successful teaching experience.  Must meet the State of Michigan requirements according to Rule 340.1790 of the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education.
 
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Teacher Consultant, will serve as a partner to School Psychologists in evaluating students with disabilities as well as duties related to the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process and supporting students in the educational environment.
