LOCATION:  Carrollton Food Service – Carrollton Middle School Cafeteria 8 Hrs per day. 
Wednesday ONLY - June 16, 2020 - August 26, 2020, Other days/hours may be required as needed.

These positions are part of the summer Meet Up Eat Up Program and hours and positions are reflective of participation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:  Help prep and bag meals, kitchen and cafeteria clean up, washing dishes, tables, sweeping and mopping floors, putting away stock. Distribute meals to parents
  1. Must have High School Diploma.
  2. Previous food service experience.
  3. Physically able to perform work, with prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, and carrying supplies/equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  4. Exhibit the ability to be a team player with a positive attitude.
  5. Must have dependable transportation and committed to being on time and working every day.
  6. Basic knowledge of sanitation and health standards.
  7. To keep a positive and respectful attitude in working with students parents, other staff members, and community members who visit Carrollton Public Schools facilities or programs.
  8. Other duties as assigned by the Nutrition Service Director, Head Cook or person in charge.
  9. Must satisfactorily pass:
    1. Law enforcement background check with fingerprinting at own expense
    2. Personal and professional reference background check.
  10. Must receive a satisfactory response to P.A. 189 Letter (Misconduct Law).
  1. Responsible for preparation of food according to specification of the Kitchen Manager and/or Director.
  2. Assists in setting up and display of serving lines for food service.
  3. Must comply with state and local health/sanitation guidelines.
  4. Works as a cashier or serves on serving lines as directed.
  5. Washes pots, pans, utensils and other kitchen equipment and cleans the kitchen as directed.
  6. Keep a positive and respectful attitude in working with students, parents, other staff members and community members who visit Carrollton Public Schools facilities or programs.
  7. To ensure a safe environment for students at all times.
  8. Responsible to maintain a professional and courteous manner with fellow employees.
  9. Ensure that all activities conform to district guidelines.
  10. Other duties as requested by the supervisor.
