Description

Overall Objective and Summary

The Desktop Support Specialist supports the end user within the school buildings.  He/she will provide support by installing, modifying, upgrading and repairing computer hardware, software, printers, projectors and other office and classroom equipment.  This person will also provide guidance to end users on hardware and software issues.
 
Minimum Qualifications

  • Extensive background in troubleshooting in a Windows environment
  • Extensive Chrome OS experience
  • Experience using a ticketing system to track work orders

Critical Job Functions
  • Work closely with District personnel to identify needs, recommend, implement and maintain various information systems
  • Assist other technical staff in resolving troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Inventory management
  • Provide outstanding customer service
