Title:                                                  Substitute Nurse
 
Qualifications:                            

          • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Connecticut
            • A minimum of three years work experience in nursing.  Pediatric or emergency care experience helpful.
              • Excellent written and oral communication skills
                • CPR/AED certified

      •  
        Reports to:                                        Nursing Supervisor
         
        Evaluator:                                          Nursing Supervisor      
         
        Compensation:                                   $150 per day
         
        Job Goal: 
                                Administer First Aid/Illness Care to students and staff 
                                Communicate with parents and appropriate staff as needed 
                                Administer medications as ordered by physician in compliance with state regulations/board policy 
                                Other duties as assigned by Nursing Supervisor
                   
         
        Other Skills and Abilities:
         
        P.C. skills preferred.
