SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS ARE NEEDED AT ALL LEVELS FOR THE 2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR
Who Are We?
Our mission at Plainville Community Schools is to provide rigorous and enriching experiences that prepare each student for success in a changing global society. We believe in a safe, caring learning environment that respects individual difference and rejects discrimination of any form. All students, faculty, staff, and parents are accountable to participate and maintain a positive learning environment throughout the district.
Assignments for substitute teachers are available at all grade levels and all subject areas. A Bachelor's degree is required. Substitute teachers must be able to follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher. As a substitute teacher you must be able to work with students with special education needs. Excellent communication skills are required. Must be reliable and have a positive attitude. The District uses Aesop, which is an automated substitute service that allows you to search and accept/decline the substitute jobs by school. Substitute compensation rate is $85.00 per day.
