Welcome to the New Philadelphia City Schools
The community shows their "Quaker Pride" in their continued support of the school district. The renovation of New Philadelphia High School took place in 1992, updating the school into a state of the art facility. In addition, twenty-four new classrooms, computer labs, science labs, and a large computer-accessed library were added at that time and the original 1913 structure was completely remodeled.

The district serves approximately 3,000 students K-12, enrolled in five K-5 elementary buildings, one 6-8 middle school, and one 9-12 comprehensive high school.

Our Mission
New Philadelphia City Schools will provide all students the opportunity to achieve their highest potential to become educated, self-sufficient, and responsible citizens. We are committed to providing every student a diverse, quality education within a safe and secure environment through a dedicated, innovated, and highly qualified staff in partnership with parents and the community-at-large
