DSNCS Teacher, Early Childhood (PreK and K)

Description:  Our school is an "in-district" charter school, founded in 2012 as part of the Boston Public Schools. We currently serve students in grades K1, K2, and first grade, with a second grade to be added next school year; at capacity, our school will serve 325 students in grades K1-5.    

Job Summary:  The school is currently seeking two early childhood educators for the 2013-14 school year.  Ideal candidates will have demonstrated the ability to drive dramatic academic success in urban, public school classrooms, and be energized by the notion of building and leading an exemplary elementary school.   

Qualifications: MA Teacher Certificate required (Early Childhood PreK-2), additional licensure in ESL or SPED preferred.  Minimum of three years teaching experience in an urban public school setting.
