Job Title:                    Substitute Food Service Worker
Days/Hours:               Flexible, as needed
Compensation:          Board approved rate of $9.56/hr.
 
Job Summary:
Member of the Perry Schools substitute Food Service Worker call list.
 
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Be able to use the POS computerized system to process meals and deposit transactions.
- Be able to accurately count money and prepare deposit slipsfor the bank
- Know required meal regualtions to accurately prepare,  recognize and process meals according to those regulations.
- Stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room
- Tolerate fast-paced serving lines
- Willing to assist with banquets and other special functions
- Prior Food Service Experience preferred
- Must possess demonstrated leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, staff, administrators, and parents
