School Overview
The focus of our school is to provide transformational education utilizing fine arts, design and technology to achieve success within the academic curriculum and post-secondary education. We are partnering with CPS's school network to provide education focused particularly in the at risk 9th and 10th grade levels. The administration of Little Black Pearl would like to reach and support the younger high school student or the student who is just entering high school and needs the smaller supportive environment. At LBPA we apply the theme of creative invention throughout the entire school to challenge our youth to contribute to community, be critical thinkers, evaluate belief systems, and be leaders in a global society. Our school population is 150 high school students.
We are seeking on call Substitute Instructors.
ualifications:
Substitute Instructors must have a minimum of 60 college credit hours.
Hold or is eligible to apply for an Illinois Substitute Certificate.
Desire to work with high school students in grades 9-12 in a supportive role.
Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the school community.
Flexible availability based on the needs of the school.
