Superintendent of Schools
The Salmon School District is seeking a dynamic individual with strong leadership and communication skills to fill the position of Superintendent. Must have a proven track record and experience in the areas of school finance, school planning and construction, public and employee relations, staff development, and school law. The district is looking for a strong personality with a capacity for maintaining respect of the community and educational leaders in Idaho. The Superintendent must have demonstrated leadership abilities in working with staff, students, parents, and the public while maintaining a positive attitude. Candidates must posses a valid Idaho Administrators Certificate endorsed for Superintendent. The district has a current enrollment of 865 students in grades K-12 with 60 certified employees and 45 classified employees. The annual General Fund Budget is 5.5 million dollars.
