VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Tutor- Middle School - Hope Academy of West Michigan

Hours Per Week: Varies

Job Summary: 

• Tutor will collaborate with the school staff members to assess thestudent’s needs and how best to address them
• Tutor will provide tutorial and academic support services for the student
• Assist students with home work assignments on an individual basis or in a small group. Works with middle or high school students.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age, have valid driver's license and transportation. Must present an auto insurance policy (describing liability) under which you are covered. Must meet Integrity Educational  Services’  screening requirements.  
• Experience working with youth and/or families.
• Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
• Spanish speaking strongly preferred.
