Reserve Teacher(s)- Spanish Speaking ONLY
Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for Reserve Teachers that are fluent Spanish speakers. An effective reserve teacher plays an important role in the education of our students. We will continue to provide high quality education when you provide good instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. Whenever a reserve is teaching in our schools, you are working with the community’s most valuable assets-our students. Eden Prairie is a school district with over 1,400 employees serving approximately 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.
- A valid, current Minnesota teaching license is required to be a Reserve teacher . This license permits you to substitute in grades K-12.
- A four year college degree which meets the requirements for applying for a Short Call/Limited Teaching License with the Minnesota Department of Education. If you have a 4-year degree, but not in education, you must contact the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) to learn the requirements to receive a Limited Short Call Sub license before you can begin to substitute teacher in the district.
