Reports to:      Athletic Director                                                                                                       
 
 Essential Functions
- Is aware of and enforces school safety standards at all times
- Meets the demands and concerns of the target populations in the camps
- Implements camp curricula
- Oversees camp counselors
- Maintains satisfactory attendance, as defined in District policy and regulations
- Responsibility for and supervision of the safety of the campers
- Identifies and responds to camper behavior issues
- Communicates with parents about participants’ experiences and report concerns
- Ensures that the site is kept clean, organized, and free of litter 

Additional Functions
- Other duties as assigned

- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.  Able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, students, parents, and the general public
- Willingness to accept responsibility for the tasks of the position
- Leadership skills
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language

- Environmental Conditions:  The works is performed primarily in a school environment and may be indoors or outdoors as regulated by the individual activity. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
