Responsibilities:
-Assist with the loading and unloading of passengers and proper securement of mobility devices; close work with special education students
-Assist the school bus driver in performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
-Assist with monitoring and managing behavior of all riders
-May require standard first aid, body fluid clean-up, and/or provide support for students with disabilities
 
Qualifications
Required:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-At least 18 years of age
-Must acquire and maintain CDE approved First Aid certification and complete training program within 60 days of hire
-Complete and submitted BVSD online application
-Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English, must pass English component of interview process

Preferred: 
-Experience working with children ages 0-21 years
-Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with passengers, parents, and school staff
