Primary School Mathematics Instructional Support Teacher and Coordinator

Job Summary

Reporting to the Primary School Principal, the PS Mathematics Instructional Support Teacher & Coordinator is responsible for collaboratively planning and supporting the implementation of differentiated instruction for Mathematics, based on formative and summative assessment, aligned with PYP approaches; communicating clearly with parents and colleagues; and coordinating support with the best interests of each individual child in mind. 

The PS Mathematics Instructional Support Teacher & Coordinator will provide instructional support and coaching in the Primary School and will make recommendations for PYP best practices in math and potential next steps to address areas of need. The PS Mathematics Instructional Support Teacher & Coordinator will develop and support instructional strategies which may include modeling lessons in the classroom, helping teacher groups plan instruction, and facilitating professional development.
