School Social Worker

This is for the 2022-2023 school year beginning August 22, 2022

Full Time Position: 1.0 FTE; 185 days/year

Salary:  As per the Terms and Conditions of the HEA contract

Description:
Provide a wide spectrum of related service responsibilities schoolwide. Provide goal setting intervention, problem solving, and support experience for students. Coordination of services to promote consistent programming between school, home and community.  
 
Qualifications:
Masters and LICSW licensure in Social Work preferred; licensure in school counseling or school psychology maybe considered by the district. Candidate must be able to demonstrate functions described in district role description, must maintain a sense of flexibility and willingness to continue learning. Provide social-emotional/family assessments in areas of need related to learning difficulties, emotional / behavioral needs.  Work with groups of students or individuals. Person should be knowledgeable in family-systems, functional behavior assessment, designing interventions, progress monitoring tactics, and other methodologies. Good communication skills, strong teaming, good community based resources and inter agency navigation skills.
