Upper Elementary Teacher

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

·         Valid Michigan elementary teaching certificate

·         Ability to interact positively with and motivate children

·         Ability to use data to plan and adjust instruction

·         Excellent classroom management skills

·         Strong belief that all children can and will be successful

·         Strong knowledge of reading research and best practice

·         Able to work with colleagues to improve student outcomes

·         Willing to accept responsibility for student learning

·         Willingness to teach a lesson to students as part of the interview process
