Sandpoint High School Principal
In the role of Principal for Sandpoint High School, you will have the opportunity to directly impact 1,000 students and their families each year, while offering leadership and support to approximately 100 staff members. SHS's Mission Statement is: "We create a caring and safe learning community encouraging academic, social, and personal growth providing a foundation for college and career readiness." The successful candidate in this position will be proactive in communicating with stakeholders, comfortable in a collaborative environment, and able to create learning opportunities for students that prepare them for career or post-secondary education.

The salary range for this position is $90,419 - $117,976 (Salary range for 21/22 school year; range will be updated as soon as it is available), based on applicable experience. Additional stipend is available for EdS or PhD. The District pays the full premium for medical, dental and vision benefits for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy. Benefit coverage for spouse and/or dependent children is available through monthly premium payroll deduction. You will participate in PERSI (Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho) with a required contribution rate of 7.16%.

- Possession of, or ability to obtain, Idaho Administrator Credential with endorsement for Principal PreK/12
- Master's Degree, preferably in Education
- 4 years' work experience in a certificated position working with students PreK-12
- Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents/guardians and other stakeholders
